Who am I?

Hi! I’m Elwyn, a northern, neurodivergent and queer creative based in Manchester.I love experimental art, film and music, and I am currently pursuing screenwriting and directing as a career.

Lore Drop Incoming…

I was born in a tiny village in North Yorkshire, and lived there for most of my life. Being the only queer person for around 10 miles,I knew from a young age that I was never going to fit in, and I had to carve out my own path. I left my strict and academic secondary school to pursue film and drama at college, then moved to Manchester for university.

Since relocating, I’ve explored many different creative pursuits. I write, direct, DJ, draw, take photos, the list goes on. As someone who has ADHD, I love having a wide variety of passions and creative outlets.

My one true love when it comes to creating has always been storytelling. Since I was a child, I have been passionate about telling stories and creating worlds that I can live in. That ethos is something that I take into every aspect of my creative practice- stories are my lifeblood, and I want everything I create to be something transportive, that can take people on a journey with me.
